Seven minutes in Valhalla (SnotloutxReader)

After the shield made a few rotations, you lost interest. You didn’t really want to play this game but you decided to humor these people so you can make more friends. You were thinking of what heather had said about the boys, Hiccup was smart and cute but a little too nice. Tuffnut was dumb and crazy but treated girls as equals, both a good and bad thing, and then there was Snotlout. He was just plain desperate.

“Snotlout! Snotlout! Oi! Oi! Oi!” You heard being brought from your thoughts.
‘Oh great’ you thought. You saw the arrow pointed at Snotlout.

“Come on ______, Valhalla awaits.” Snotlout said in a pathetic attempt to seduce you.
You hesitantly followed him looking back to Heather. She gave you a sympathetic look as you shut the door.

“This is my kind of paradise.” Snotlout said looking around the room and at you. “Me in a room to myself with a gorgeous maiden.” He bowed slightly with an outstretched hand hoping you would take it.

You were slightly disgusted by him, but something in the air brought you to him. You took his hand against your will.

He kissed it lightly. Then began trailing kisses up your arm until he reached your shoulder. He whispered in your ear, “I know you want me.”

You punched him and pulled yourself away from him.

“Stop fighting it.” Snotlout said walking closer to you.

You wanted to get away from him and was about to run but he stopped nearing you.

“I guess if you really don’t want to be around me I’ll leave you alone then.” He said, realizing you were trying to get away from him. He sat on the ground. “Sorry if I crept you out. My dad always told me to be forward with girls. He said it was the Viking way. I can’t always live up to his expectations but at least I do a better job than Hiccup” he said.

You were surprised at his sudden change in attitude. You went and sat next to him and place a hand on his shoulder. “You know, sometimes the best way to win someone over is to be yourself.” You said with a kind smile.

He smiled glad you weren’t disgusted by him. “So does that mean I can kiss you?” He asked blushing a little.

You smiled and blushed a little yourself. You leaned towards him and was about to kiss him when there was a knock at the door. “Hey, others want a chance in Valhalla to you know!” a voice called.

The two of you got up and right as you were about to open the door, you turned around and gave Snotlout a quick kiss.

“You should be yourself more often” you said as you walked out the door.
